Since 2013, Herron’s softball program has grown significantly, from our home field to our team culture. We pride ourselves on hard work, sportsmanship, and celebrating every positive play, on and off the field.

To continue building on our success, we need your help with funding for:

Team Apparel & Uniformity: From time to time Herron has purchase jackets, warm-ups, and even sport bags for its softball players (after raising money of course). Looking the part and playing the part go hand in hand and we want nothing more than to represent Herron High School in class and style. Last year we purchased red pin striped uniforms with matching pant. These look very stylish and we hope to continue using this combination moving forward.

New Equipment: Bats, Helmets and other equipment needing updating or replaced are of the highest priority. Expensive items like a good pitching machine (also used to practice defense) may be purchased once all of our other basic needs are met.

Team Celebrations: Funding for meals after games or special events help create environments for bonding outside of a softball field. These activities are so important for team building and often overlooked. Stopping at an ice cream shop after a game on a hot day or pizza after an early game on Saturday are two great examples.
